Restaurant Manager (Full-Time)  Candidates should possess Team Service Experience as a Fine Dining Manager. Establish and maintain genuine and personalized guest relations. Knowledge of food, beverage and wine menus. Previous bartending experience. Minimum age of 21 years of age. Tuberculosis certificate required.

Cook II (Casual)  Experienced Cook II. Candidate must have the skills and ability to prepare all menu items. Must be able to maintain all health and sanitary standards and become familiar with Industry Standards. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.  Must be able to lift 50-100 lbs. Must be willing to work various hours, holidays, weekends, and long hours on feet. TB Certificate required.
 

Applicants must adhere to the Resort's Appearance Standard, which includes no extreme styles or body piercing. Hair must be neatly trimmed, conservative and professional. If hair is colored, it must be a natural-looking color. The selection process includes 2-3 interviews, employment reference verification and pre-employment drug screen. Many positions require a valid driver's license and traffic abstract. Employment applications are accepted for open positions by appointment only. Kona Village Resort does not provide employee housing. Rentals are available in nearby Waikoloa Village or in Kailua-Kona. Currently, there is no public transportation to Kona Village Resort.
